APIACEAE – Actinotus helianthi – Flannel Flower

One of the few plants that has been found at all the Northern Beaches sites that I monitor – Bangalley Head, Caleyi Track, Chiltern Track North, Chiltern Road West, Cromer Heights, Deep Creek, Katandra, Manly Dam, North Head-Manly, Terrey Hills, Turimetta Head, Warriewood Wetlands and the West Head tracks. Seen flowering all year round but most prolifically in September.
