Bangalley Head Map

This is a one way trail around 2km in length, but there is an internal loop. To start at the Southern end, start at the corner of Marine Parade, North Avalon and North Avalon Road. Walk towards the cliff edge (you will see a Bangalley Head sign and information board) and then turn north in front of a few houses before you get to bushland. The track rises fairly steeply to get to a Trig Point which is the highest point of the Northern Beaches. To start at the Northern End you start from Whale Beach Road (past Alexander Road). There is a Bangalley Head sign on this side too. Access from this side is steeper than the southern side.
