PROTEACEAE – Banksia serrata – Old Man Banksia

Widespread throughout the Northern Beaches – seen flowering from November to March. The documented distinction between this plant & B. aemula is the stigma shape ==> B. aemula is ovoid whereas B. serrata is cylindrical.
