RANUNCULACEAE – Clematis aristata – Old Man’s Beard, Traveller’s Joy

Found at Deep Creek, Narrabeen and the Warriewood Wetlands & seen flowering in September & October. Note that the leaflets are mostly toothed. Another distinguishing feature (from C. glycinoides) is the appendage on the anther of the flower – it is slightly longer than the anther.
