RANUNCULACEAE – Clematis glycinoides var. glycinoides – Forest Clematis, Old Man’s Beard
Widespread – found at Bangalley Head, Caleyi track, Ingleside Chase, Katandra, Terrey Hills area and Turimetta. Seen flowering from July to September. Note that the leaflets are mostly not toothed or with a single tooth at the base of the leaf. The appendage on the anther of the flower is only about 1mm so noticeably shorter than C. aristata. C. glycinoides also flowers a bit earlier than C.aristata.
