CYPERACEAE – Cyathochaeta diandra – ‘Twisted sedge’

This sedge has a ‘twisted’ appearance. Seen on the Caleyi Track, both Chiltern Tracks, Cromer Heights, North Head-Manly, Terrey Hills and the West Head Tracks. Flower spikes can be seen at varying stages throughout the year.
