SAPINDACEAE – Dodonaea triquetra – Common hop bush

Found on Bangalley Head, the Caleyi Track, Chiltern Road West, Deep Creek, Katandra Bushland Sanctuary, Manly Dam, North Head-Manly, Terrey Hills, Warriewood Wetlands and the West Head tracks. Female and male flowers can generally be seen from December until June. The conspicuous fruit capsules can be seen all year round. This shrub can appear very prevalent on disturbed soil.
