MYRTACEAE – Eucalyptus sieberi – Silver-top Ash, Black Ash

Found on the ridge tops of Caleyi track, Cromer Heights, Chiltern Track, Ingleside Chase & the Perimeter Track, Sydney. Seen flowering from August to October.

Buds are hemispherical with a slight point

New stems are reddish

Upper branches smooth & pale-coloured

Trunk is usually rough, hard and dark
