ARACEAE – Gymnostachys anceps – Settlers Twine, Boorgay

Seen towards the end of the Basin Track in Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park (off West Head Road) – seen in February when there were flowers and fruit.

Flowers are sessile and dense on the surface of the spikes

Fruit develops into a shiny blue drupe
