Hibbertia bracteata

DILLENIACEAE – Hibbertia bracteata – Blue Mts Guinea Flower

Found on the Caleyi Track, Chiltern Track North, Chiltern Road West, Katandra Bushland Sanctuary, Terrey Hills, Ingleside Chase Reserve and the West Head tracks. Seen flowering from May to January. This is one of the more attractive and recognisable Hibbertia’s having rusty, hairy buds and bright green leaves. Generally found to have 16 yellow stamens and 2 light green carpels.
