ERICACEAE – Monotoca elliptica – Tree Broom Heath, Pidgeon Berry

Found on the Portuguese path off Bairne track, West Head, Ku-ring-gai Chase NP; there are extensive stands on the North Head trails in Manly, Sydney. Flowers are tiny so not easy to photograph.  Seen flowering from May to September and fruiting – green berries turning to orange – in November and December.
