APOCYNACEAE – Parsonsia straminea – Monkey Rope, Common Silkpod

Fairly widespread on the Northern beaches – found at Bangalley Head, Deep Creek, Manly Dam, Katandra, Turimetta Head, Warriewood Wetlands and West Head. Seen flowering from November until June with fruit pods found from June until December.

Can become a very woody vine.
