Terrey Hills directions and Maps
There are several tracks in this area – these are the tracks that I have mainly walked to find the plants listed.
From Mona Vale, take Mona Vale Road to Terrey Hills; turn right at the first set of traffic lights and turn LEFT at circle into Booralie Road; continue on for about 2km to Booligal Road; drive to the end of Booligal Road and park. Walk through the green gate & continue straight crossing the Perimeter track. This is the entrance to Smiths Creek Track which is about 2.5km one way. This track leads down a steep hill to Smiths Creek.
Perimeter & Wilkins Track
To get to the start of the Perimeter track continue on Booralie Road for about 4.4km until Eurabba Road; turn RIGHT into Eurabba Road; at the end turn RIGHT into Mallawa Road; and then LEFT into Bulara Street; and then RIGHT into Cullamine Road. Park at the green gate signed Perimeter Track. After about 1km you pass the turn off to the Long Track on your LEFT. Continue on for another km or so to reach Wilkins track on your LEFT. There is a sign which may be covered with plant growth. This is one-way and approximately 1km in length – it leads to a view point with a view over Smiths Creek.
Duffys Wharf and Slades Tracks
Continue on Booralie Road until it ends. There you will find the start of the tracks – Slades is a fairly level track that will take you to a viewpoint and Duffys (turn-off about 300m from the start) will take you down a steep hill to the waters of Cowan Creek.
From the start of the Perimeter track continue until the fork with the Long Track sign. Take the Long Track (LEFT) and after about 1km on the LEFT there will be a gate which is the start of the Cowan track which leads to a view point. On the way are Aboriginal engravings.
